Hey guys thanks for the itme to help me out.

On the shifting. 1st-3rd are good shifts fut from 3rd to 4th the rpms go from 2.5k slowly to 2k and then drops into 4th.

It's got me worried because I don't have extra $$ laying around for a tranny job.

Fluids are full.

Also should I tow a boat on the highway in O/D or leave it in D3?

Thanks

for towing stay out of OD. And your slow shift to 4th may be a partially plugged solenoid screen. You can clean and repair this with the trannie in the car, just have to drop the pan and the valve body. Check out the A4LD Rebuild Diary in the Useful threads section, specicially part 3A.

Thanks a bunch Glacier.

Will do.

:( Last ngiht on my way home it did the same in all gears while in over drive but if I put it in Drive it seems to do better for some reason.

I'm too new to working on it to feel comfortable. I'll take it to a shop tomorrow am.

:(
