my buddy has a 97 mountaineer with the 302 and 4r70w trans (awd). reverse and 1st and 2nd are all he has. he starts accelerating and shifts 1st then 2nd then drops into neutral, if he floors it it revs up and shifts to 2nd normally. we are both mechanics so we can work on our selves, but any one had this issue before, or know whats up with it? any help is appreciated
