I have a 96 explorer and had a code of 1-2 gear shift solenoid come up. So unhooked battery and changed it out along with filter. While I was in there. Drove for about a week then O/D light started blinking again. Could this be because I didn't have the code cleared and just unhooked the negative on the battery. And computer remembered the code. Please help...
