transmission leaking around seal ring

I don't know the part name or number. I have a heavy flow of transmission fluid that coming from between the black ring that seals the housing that connects the universal joint.( I believe). I am stuck in Memphis and must be in Huntsville shortly. Please tell me there is hope. I recently had the transmission serviced 8 days ago. It ran fine until this crucial roadtrip. I took pictures to show where the leak is. I could show anyone who can help me and my family. Stranded and desperate.

I am sorry that you are stranded! If you are talking about trans fluid coming out of the tail shaft seal then the only hope you have is to have it repaired! Not something you can or should do in a parking lot with out the right tools. Call a shop and get it towed! wish I had a better option for you!
