How many miles do you have? My transmission is starting to shift a little harsh so a filter change and flush is in the future. 126k miles on mine

Check the fluid level. Usually when a transmission doesn't shift like that the fluid might be low

i guess i should mention that it happened after a good day of mudding.... its got 96,000 miles on it and the fluid is where it should be....

could be a speed sensor located on the rear end or at the end of the transmission or tc or the shift solenoids in the tranny.

well i changed the filter and as i was puttin fluid in i noticed it draining onto the floor!!!! the was a huge hole in my fill tube.... not cool... so i obviously sucked some mud and water in the trans. which i found a clump of mud when i dropped the pan. but anyhow i did a flush and im back in business, still shifts from P to OD pretty slow but its shifting fine after that.:D

wow well glad u got it figured out, you know the rulz; build it, wheel it, brake it, repeat!! lol

couldnt have said it better myself
