Hey guys, ok i finally got around to pulling the tranny out, i finally got it out after messing with it all day because of the cold here, and i found that the flex plate was cracked and the torque converter has been riding against the bell housing, my question is, when i drove the truck home (yes i know not a good idea knowing it had been run almost dry of fluid) the thing shifted through gears just fine. what is everyones thoughts on just replacing the torque converter and flywheel along with the rear main seal and input shaft seal on the tranny and running it again. also after a filter and fluid change. thanks for your input:exp:
