Dagnamut! Something finally went wrong with the trusty Mountaineer. Given the symptoms I've been witnessing over a duration of the last fiscal quarter, I am lead to believe the transmission behind my 302 cubic inch is on its way out.
I am too old to get under the Mountaineer and tinker around. So, worst case scenario, what am I going to have to give to obtain a new transmission along with labor for installation? Has anyone been unlucky enough recently to be subjected to this experience? Gracias.
