I was in autozone today and i saw something i havent seen before it was seafoam for the transmission and i have been having a problem with my tranny that i believe to be "valve sticking" and this claims to correct the problem now should i try this or am i just asking for trouble

I've seen it around, haven't heard much about it. I think it would be worth a shot, you probably have to do a pan drop and change the fluid out after a period of time. Try some lucas in there with the fluid changed. help me out.

They have had Sea Foam for a long time now, engine and transmission. I know for a fact it helps automatic transmissions. I had a 87 Suburban and the transmission started acting strange. I dumped in a can and kept driving it like I always did. I thought at first it was a 'snake oil wonder drug' but after a forgotten number of miles(I don't recall) it began shifting just like it should. I also know guys here that buy junkers as crew cars because of the mileage to work and some of them used it for sticking lifters. I am not even a salesman for them and still like it.

thanks alot and i just pour it in the filler tube correct?
