I had my trans slip on take off ounce yesterday , today it would slip every time I would take off. I would tack about up to 4000 then deliver the power. Now it slips while in motion and take off plus no reverse. It goes forward only and very poor at that. I had low trans fuid but I put some in. No better. Need to get it runnin fast got a date in like 3 days . Any thing I can do?

sounds like its time for a tranny rebuild

It was rebuilt about 9 mouths ago

It was rebuilt due to me mud ridin.

if it was rebuilt about 9 months ago, you should still have a warranty on it. 12,000/ one year??

It was rebuilt buy a local dude not contracted. I will now only go foward. NO Reverse. And the forward it boggy (weak) park is the only working gear. I can also roll the SUV in any gear but park

Well man, it sounds like you are SOL. Sorry, I hate costly repairs, the little ones I don't mind.

Well guss I get it rebuilt or drop a manual in how does automatic to standar cost?

That conversion really isn't worth it IMO. Why not get the tranny rebuilt by a reputable shop that knows how to rebuild the A4LD? Most shops apparently do not.

I recommend Cottman Transmissions. They just rebuilt mine and it only took 2 days. Great service and warranty.

Note: to do a proper brake launch, only rev to about 1900-2200 with the OHV and A4LD.
