rebuilt transmission slippin y????

i just had the transmission rebuilt on my explorer....and now it slipps sometimes not all the time.....just sometimes when i come to a complete stop and give it gas to take off it slips a little....what could cause this... when i asked the transmission people they said it was just fine....and that the problem was that the parts are new....they need time to break in.....dont sound true to me.....could u guys give me some input....thankz

im by far a tranny expert but i just had mine rebuilt and it doesnt do that. id say there full of it. go get a second opinion then take it back to them again.
 






Check the tranny fluid level and make sure they put the right kind in?
 






Most reputable tranny shop will give you 1 year warranty on your rebuilt tranny. If you did get this then give it time and let it break in like they suggested. If the problem does not go away after a month, then go back and demand that they fix it.

Also, make a point of writing their shop license number and point out to them that you will report them to consumer affairs if the problem isn't fixed NOW!

Are you 100% sure its the trans. Maybe it's a worn slip yoke or u-joint on the driveshaft moving a little?
