hey guys i am having some problems with my transmission it seems to be slipping for a example im going around a turn at 25mph and after the turn get on it a little bit and it slips for 2-3 seconds.. does this mean my transmission is going bad?
what are some of the first problems that happen before transmission go bad?

i need answers as soo as prossible! because i was going to order a ifab intake over the weekend but if its going bad i am just thinkin about putting a explorer 5.0 swap in it mostly because i heard people say it cost around $2500 for a tranmission rebuild..

if i makes a difference i have 88,000 miles

Sounds like a low fluid problem. You didn't happen to replace the filter and forget the O rings. If you can change an engine, you can fix a transmission. The A4LD is so simple and cheap to work on. This doesn't really sound like a transmission problem with the exception of what is mentioned above.
