Ok lesson learned .. Never buy a DD from your Son...
the trans leaked a vast amount of yucky looking fluid. Clear with dark places. I put a qt of Micron in and it is Red. I thought all trans fluid wais Red. I noticed most of the oil was in the Modulator Valve area which had no Vacuum Hose no wonder it shifted improper..Could fluid under pressure shoot out of there.. I cranked up the truck and no oil would come out..anywhere.. could be pretty empty. I will add a qt tomorrow after I find a way to the store.. sure miss my Motor cycle.. I read the great A4ld Rebuild.. and feel I can do this..
