Transmission stuck in drive

My 1992 Eddie Bauer is stuck in drive. It will go into park, but there is no neutral or reverse anymore. It seemed to have been leaking fluid earlier, but after putting more ATF, it hasn't leaked out. I've tried driving around my neighborhood, and it seems to be shifting all the way up to 3rd just find, however I wasn't able to go any faster than that.

Yesterday though it seemed like it was slipping, a few seconds of driving, few seconds of neutral.

Do I need a new transmission? Or is there anything I can do.

Check the linkage adjustment. Sometimes the internal Z link gets bent.
