Transmission trouble (code P1762).

dont no if this goes with this post but my 98 is showing codes po760 shift solenoid c malfunction, and p1762 overdrive band failed. Just wondering if the shift solenoid c would cause the code for the band,and if not what is involved in changing the overdrive band. thanks.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your post into its own thread in the transmission section. Adjust the overdrive band, and see if it helps. You might have a broken band if the adjuster doesn't tighten to specifications (120 In/Lbs).
