we have a 2002 mountaineer AWD v8 with about 90k on it. there is a whining sound coming from the trannie; it sounds like the gear teeth are just touching. this is happening in park and neutral gets a little louder in reverse and drive - -i've never done anything to the trans oil or filter could this be low oil? help!!!!
