I just got the opportunity to get a 93 explorer 4x4 for pretty much nothing. the body and frame look real nice still and it's been taken care of very well. It's a 5sp manual transmission and just last week the 5th gear went out on the previous owner. I've heard that the 5th gear and reverse are linked so that it'll probably go out soon too. I'm just wondering if anyone out there know how much I'm getting in to here, and if I take it and if it's worth the money to fix it.. it's got 170 thousand miles on it.
