trasmission cooler hose question

my transmission cooler hoses have 245,x.. miles on them. Should the hoses be replaced the next time the transmission is serviced?

Yes, a good idea. While such hoses are exposed to very low pressure, aging hardens them, and should one crack while on a trip, you could be stranded.
