Tricks for front passenger side O2 sensor

Anyone know any tricks for removing the front passenger side O2 sensor?

I'm got a check engine light with a P0171 code. Only bank one is running lean. I don't really know what I'm doing, but it seems to me that many of the problems I've read about on the forum would affect BOTH engine banks. I think it might be this sensor, but I cannot get my hand up to remove the electrical connector. I can touch it with my fingers, but that's about it.

I can't even see how a mechanic would do it.
