Hi out there,
i could need a little help: I´ve fixed/rebuilded a 4R55E? Transmission ( 95 Explorer OHV 4,0 Litres).
Now i have problems: I get the Codes; sometimes the gears Flare sometimes they just do not get engaged. Seems like there is no forth Gear.
I bought a rebuild Valve Body from VBX and the Supplier told me it was a 5R55E Body but it was build to fit both Trannies!!!! I can hardly believe that. And on top i tried a couple of other Valve Bodies. Sometimes no or harsh Reverse. They told me i had to remove the Check Ball. One Time they told me to remove one from the Sides the next Time they wanted me to remove the middle one. Anyone with a good Idea ?
