ok this morning I went to start my explorer, it didnt start but it cranked. I tried it again for the second time and it didnt start again but cranked. So I said ok let me try to give it some gas, I started it and pressed on the gas pedal, held it there for a while the truck started running, then i let go of the pedal and it stopped again. I cranked it again and still no turnover. I finally got it to start after trying again. It's been doing this for a while but not this bad. I dont know what it could be. PLEASE HELP!!

I got the battery tested it tested fine, the starter seems to be fine as well, alternator is charging fine, Im leaning towards fuel problem? Im not sure.

how much gas do you have in it? do you need an oil change maybe?
Is it cold where you are?

I have a lot of problems when it gets cold out

Yea I live in Ohio, It is very cold. The gas can be nearly at a full tank, or half and it will still do it. Where is the IAC solenoid located?

well, for me its usually becuase of the cold so. That might be your only problem. I don't know what an IAC solenoid is so I can't help ya there.
