Has anyone else had trouble getting the tailpipe to fit correctly on a 96 Force II install? I finally bought one because of the great reviews on this site. I've checked and re-checked the part numbers against the instructions and they all match up.
The problems are:
I can't see how to bolt the right rear shock back up with the tail pipe installed, it interferes with the shock
Looks like the hanger welded on the tail pipe is about six inches aft of where it needs to be to use the stock hanger for the stock tailpipe, as it says in the kit
The pipes seem to be too long for the muffler - there's no enough clearance to fit both pipes in the muffler - it's an SUV50.
Any help would be appreciated - I just spent $200 on the kit and another $70 on hardware and rental tools. I really don't want to drive it to a shop now for a custom tailpipe unless I have too...
thanks
