Troubles codes-can i get by jumping pins?

Hey,

I know GM has had a way to get the trouble codes from the their computers by jumping pins. Does anyone know if i can also get the codes out of a the ford computer??

yes, i believe you CAN jump some pins, but im not very familiar when they changed computers......let me find the info and i will post again

looks like you've got a 93, so you must have the EEC IV.....here is the info i found for you

A couple of notes to that test procedure.
You have a '93, so you'll get three digit codes. Adjust the code interpretation accordingly.
That link doesn't give the key on engine running (KOER) test procedure, which may or may not be useful to you.
