Trunk Lock

Does anyone know the reason why my trunk will not lock. I use the key ring remote as well as the one on the door but the only part of the truck that locks the doors the trunk lid and liftgate still does not lock.
Any suggestions or alike problems anyone has had?

Mine does this sometimes. I noticed if I jiggle the latch handle it starts working again.

i am with gimp....my auto teacher had the same prob on his z24 and me and the other teacher's aide found a bad ground and fixed it while he was lecturing the rest of the class

A few months ago mine stopped working and had to be replaced.
The part was about $60. I had it replaced by the local body shop because the elect. lock actuator is rivited to the tailgate, which makes it hard to remove/replace without the tools, and the labor rate at the body shop is much less than the dealership.
Hope its just a loose wire....
