hey guys, I am getting either 30x10.50x15 or 31x9.50x15 Super Swamper Radials with 15x8 Rock Crawlers (3.75" backspacing) Now here are the specs on each one, by the way I'm not lifting it.

30x10.50x15:
height - 29.7
tread width - 7.9
tread depth - 21/32

31x9.50x15:
height - 30.7
tread width - 7.2
tread depth - 19/32

Now which do you think would be cooler looking or the smarter one to go with? Oh and out of curiosity, anyone running the 31x10.50x15 LTB with stock height? I would get these but they looked to big when we put my friends next to my tires I'm running right now. These are strictly my offroading set, already have the BFG all terrains on stock wheels. Any feedback would be appreciated.

birdman, you are not lifting at all? no TT? i think 31's would be better, but the 30's might fit better off road. you may have trouble running both, with no lift at all.

LTB's wear down quickly and have a very rough ride.

Why not get a TSL radial in 31x10.50? They will fit fine and grip awesome.

I have ran TSL Radials for probably 4+ years. And I'll keep running them as long as my rig drives on the street. I've tried every other radial out there and I wasn't empressed with any of them. Well except the new STSs.:)

I've only seen a few people running LTBs on the street and they hate the ride but the off road part is awesome.

You should be able to fit the 31's with out them rubbing when you go off road. I had the tsl radials on my X and they preformed well on and off road

thanks guys, my brother just got his LTB's in for his Tacoma (extremely cool) but with his ride and the noise I decided it is not for me since I do not need ultimate traction but I still want good looks. Going to run MT/R as my permanent set and give all-terrains to my grandpa. Always wanted a set of those and they look so awesome, had a friend that tore up everything in a jeep with 31x10.50's and unless we high centered he could not be stopped. Discount tire is test fitting both sizes for me tomorrow. Will decide and post pics.

NOISE!

I know what you mean about noise. I ran a set of 32" SX's and with the windows down on the freeway, you just couldn't hear the radio! As the tires got closer to being bald (16 months), the roar on the road got louder and louder! Here's what my truck looked like w/32" TSL-SX's...
