Not to long ago i did the tt/ shakle mod. I went up a full 2" and the truck looked great, then my nightmare started!! After rasing and had a bad vibration at highway speeds and also on hard acceleration.
So when going to have my alinment done I found that the front driverside cv was binding. So badly that the wheel would not turn by hand with full flex
After jacking up the tire a little it would turn. So now I have taken my tt back down to only 1" and have no problems now. I may try later to back up 1/2" but leaving it for now.
