i know how to do the TT and shackles thats not a problem so dont go slapping your head at me yet. i bought my 98 sport like 2 months ago and id like to raise it just a tad for now. im curious, how do i know if these things have already been done. can you tell by the threads left on the bolt cause it seems like the adjuster bolt is half way in. what should i look for on the shackes in case the guy before me put some aftermarket shackles on there

The aftermarket shackles hang down more than stock. They look just like basic heavy-duty H's. The stock shackles are more complex and have side tabs and are wide when looking at them from the side, but thin metal. I did a 4dr. leaf swap in the rear which you may want to do before going with shackles. After the swap, my X sits at about 34" all around(ground to bottom of the wheel well). If yours is much higher than that, the you probably have had shackles done and torsion twist done.

i can get u a pick of stock ones if u need.
also when u finally decide what your doing, if u go with a 4dr leaf pack, and can't find any, let me know

The bolts should be halfway in dude, that's normal.
