I was wondering if anybody has used/is using Tuff Country drop brackets and what do you think about them? Found some on ebay for a decent price.

They're OK. Good for mild wheeling (won't pop a hole in your diff housing).

For harder use I'd be looking at Skyjacker's brackets though.

if you are just lifting it for show, then use the tuff country drop brackets. if you are going to be wheeling it then i would go with the skyjacker drop brackets. i had superlift drop brackets break on me. skyjacker makes the best drop brackets.

Does Skyjacker still make the drop bracket lifts for the 1st gen TTB explorers? They don't list anything on their web site other than the 2" lift coils.

You need to purchase a Ranger kit with leaf springs, then add extended shackles to the rear (Warrior pt# 153).

Look up james duff the have a lot of good stuff for exs and rangers

Is there any difference between the classI and classII skyjacker brackets? Is the classI no good compared to the classII?

Class II gives you the extended radius arms. You'll need those if you want more than 8" or so travel without wasting your bushings.

Ok. I was looking at them on summit and they have the class I bracket for 50 less than the class II bracket. But in the description it does not say anything about needing the EX RA's. So, the difference between cls I and cls II is the ex ra arms? They are both built the same strength and made with the same durability?

Yes.

Class II does give you a little support piece that goes on the front of the frame crossmember (probably the extra $50), but IMO, the massiveness of the bracket makes it kindof pointless.
