TTB to Dana 44 swap w/ rear in the near future?

i have recently salavaged a 75 box bronco dana 44 to swap for my TTB, my only problem is that it is a full size axle with a 5 on 5 1/2 wheel bolt pattern....but i still want to keep the 8.8, cheaper than swaping to a 9" with same wheel bolt patterns..........any ideas other than having two spare tires........

5 on 4.5" to 5 on 5.5" wheel spacers for the 8.8. I think a lot of people are running that option.
