Don't rule out the starter even though it's 1 year old I replaced many 1 year old defective starters! You can swap the relay and see but I'm going to bet the solenoid on the starter is bad to check that when the truck doesn't start get under it and jump the 2 red wires to make the starter spin if the starter spins you know it's either the solenoid or the wire to it next check to see if you have power going to solenoid you will need some one to try and crank it while you have a volt meter on it if you have power then you know it's the solenoid and you have a bad starter!

Just a thought, but many of the issues like this are because the PATS system is kicking in and keeping the vehicle from starting. I would make sure that you don't have the vehicle key on a chain with a lot of other keys since I have seen that cause the key to not seat in the ignition properly.

Before dumping parts on your exploder, check first your battery terminal for corrosion. Make sure it"s clean and tightly secured.
