2012 Ford Explorer XLT
I have a 2012 Ford Explorer XLT 3.5 4WD. Today I went to Advance Auto get my battery checked. It checked out fine. But after leaving there my blinkers, both sides, wont stay on. I push the lever as to turn left or right and my blinker flashes once and goes off. If I tap the lever, I will get the normal 3 flashes for a lane change. If I push the hazards they work fine. But for some reason, my normal turn signal will no longer stay on. I assumed maybe they blew a fuse with their testing machine but i don't find any blown fuses. There is one for each blinker, left and right. I checked both 15a fuses on the panel under the dash and they were both good. Im baffled about what else it could be. Like I Said they worked perfectly until Advance Auto tested my battery and charging system with their machine.

Welcome to the Forum.
I think the best place to start is to go back to Advance Auto and explain the situation. Did they just use a battery tester? I wonder if they might have done something to change the signalling setup program inadvertently.

Instead of guessing a scan tool would be the way to go. A DTC is probably set which will not illuminate the CEL and proceed from there.
You can always try disconnecting the battery.

You are going to need a scan tool that will read that module, a scan tool at advanced /auto zone wont.

Could be your multifunction switch.
