I asked this question to someone who should know but I'm not sure I asked it correctly so I asked another guy who gave me a different answer.
I have our 4.6 3V engine in my Trac. I have about 204k miles on it and I have the Roush charger kit on it. Truck runs fine and mechanically is showing no weak signs but I'm trying to think ahead.
I was thinking about a year or two down the road and possibly something like a 2016 5.0 F150.
I'd like to reuse the TVS 2300. I"m assuming the intake manifold and probably the throttle body and most of the support parts will be different but is the supercharger ( the heart of the kit) the same, can it be carried over?
I've checked a few sites and it seems the tvs r2300 is offered for the 5.0 engines.
anyone know if there were variations in this model supercharger?
Thanks in advance
