Two issues...can anyone help

I bought some parts from a junkyard that looked suspiciously like a cash 4 clunkers grave yard. The trucks looked fine but without engines. When I asked if I could pay to have one towed to my home for a few days to pick my own parts, they replied that it isn't legal to do that.

sounds like it. Cash For Clunker trucks are not supposed to leave a JY they're supposed to eventually be crushed by a certain date. Required by law.

They said that I couldn't have it towed to my house because it had no title. In most states there is a regular title or a demolition title. This row of vehicles had neither and is located near a giant recycling company???

probably true then. The government made sure these CFC cars would never get out in to circulation again.

They still sell parts. Just not the engine.

The yards over here were starting to sell the heads and intakes off the GT40 Explorers towards the end. And I know for a fact that the guys that worked there had their hands all over them. Oops!
