TWO Problems

I have a 2002 Sport trac with an annoying alarm problem from it appears the air bag alarm, after driving for approx 20 minutes the alarm sounds for approx10- 20 seconds goes away then comes back again approx 20 minutes later, dealer tells me it will take days to find repair? I was thinking of finding the offending alarm wire and cutting it?.

Secondly just yesterday the power steering pump seemed to blow some of it's contents out of the filler cap over the engine bay, it was not over filled at the time and has not done it again after another few hours driving any
clues/idea's?
Technical advice in the Philippines is scarce especially at the dealer?

Welcome! Your vehicle needs to be serviced. Cutting wires is not recommended as you may be masking a serious problem, or worse, and air bag could deploy while the vehicle is in motion. Let them check the power steering also.

If you turned the wheel at all without the truck running it will feed power steering fluid out of the system and pop the cap off, making a big mess. Are you sure you didn't turn the steering wheel while it was parked?
