1) Car shudders in idle and in park. I'm thinking it's a misfire on a plug. I just had the plugs replaced about 12 months ago. Don't know what kind were put in.

2) "Clicking" noise when brakes are applied. Only starts to happen after I have been driving for at least 10-15 minutes. The brakes aren't slipping or malfunctioning. All pads and rotors have been redone in last 12 months.

12 months for a set of plugs? I think you re stretching it a little, what kind of fuel consumption are you getting? It tends to fall off when you lengthen the gap between replacing plugs. by the way, i saw in the manual that if you have plugs misfiring you will see the chech engine light flashing intermittently.

as far as the clicking noise when applying the brakes, try checking if the wheel nuts are tight, I remember I got that when my brakes were seviced and the wheels nuts were not tightened good. If problems persist after you tighten the nut, it may be something else.

My ST was Idleing real rough so gave it a full tune up and the problem was still there.....this is what I found,

On the passenger side of the motor below the throttle body there is a hard plastic 3/4'' dia hose, it comes from you PCV valve it goes into a rubber elbow. Mine was dried out and cracked, so the engine was sucking air from that spot causing the rough Idle. After I replaced that everything was great.

Most likely it is the vacuum elbow as DirtBagPhil mentioned, also there is a part on the top of the intake called the Idle Air Control (IAC) which can become dirty and cause a rough idle. It is pretty easy to take off and clean.

Yeah I agree other then a tune up idle is usually a vacuum leak or related to MAF or IAC.

I don't really know the gas consumption, but I get about 200-250 miles/tank. I fill up weekly for work. About 200-300 miles/week.

I get close to 275-300 a tank. Very light driving.

mine gets around 250 to 270 per tnk, mixed hway and street driving, seems like a lot of work has to be done like tune up and stuff.:thumbdwn:

i also get around 250-300 miles per tank, depending on how much city driving
