I just did a trade with a guy and got rocker panels installed (just the chrome strips that go on the underside of the doors) and i like them and all but from what i've heard from a lot of people they're more trouble then they are nice to have... so does anyone know how to get these off without pealing off any paint? (they're really sticky)..

secondly im going back to my high pitched noise question... i think this is what's causing my problems. I have had A/C problems ever since I bought my truck. the AC works fine.... while i'm driving.. but when i come to idle it always seems to cut out like it's trying to click on and click on and click on again.... sometiems when i have my AC on and i turn a corner decently hard the car itself will cut out.. and regenerate power somehow and sometimes even DIE.... what is causing this to happen? could it be because of my IAC or because of an alternator problem??? im just trying to find the source of this.. i turned left with my AC on this weekend in front of a semi and i almost died cause the car cut out... luckily it regained power just in time....

thanks for all replies.

That's funny, I made a hard left turn a couple of times and my Explorer died on me too. I took it to the Ford dealership, but they could not get it to recreate the problem so it was just shoved off as nothing wrong was found. It acted like a dead short in the steering wheel to me, the way it just died so quickly. Now that is strange to hear you having the same identical problem.......

I had it happen once too, but with all the climate controls off and the windows down. Cranked the wheel hard and it died, but it hasn't happened again since.
