Hey Fellas,

I have a 97 Ford Explorer Sport with the stock 6 disk CD changer under the arm rest. Just want to know what type of music files does this CD player support? MP3 obviously do not work. Thanks in advance.

I don't know for sure myself but likely, it'll only play music CDs that are burned and finalized in music CD format.

You definitely can't play MP3 or WMA files on the stock unit.
