Some idiot blew a stop sign then decided to stop in front of me. Well he wound up being taken to a hospital by helicopter, I got out without a scratch. But the truck? Drivers side front is torn apart. I'm actually quite impressed with the impact the truck took. Hopefully it comes back like normal in 3 weeks from the body shop.

Wow sorry to hear about the truck, glad to hear u only got a scratch. It's really nice to hear the Ex passed the crash test wit high marks n then lived up to it. Hopefully it will be back to its old self in 3 weeks.

Really sorry to hear about your EXplorer but glad that you're okay. Do you know if the frame was bent in any way? That would be my main concern.

Top rail is slightly damaged at the very edge. Control arm, and tie rod completely broke. Adjuster mentioned they are made this way to prevent frame damage. Its a 2yr lease, so I am sorta glad I leased this time in case it doesn't come back driving 100% I have to give the ex an A+ for the crash.

Relieved to hear that you are okay, and that the Explorer sacrificed itself to protect it owner! That will make me feel better everytime my family and I get in to go somewhere.

Wow just saw this, glad you are OK! Where did it happen? You know I am at the Medical Center most days.....

Mill rd in ronkonkoma. Just got off the train, was driving home...and BAM! I'm glad I'm fine, but this def sucks. Missing the truck, along with worrying it will be OK when I get it back.
