If I could just buy one, that would be cool. I just figured you were done having them made since this thread was so old.

I would, however, need it to be able to permanently hold my laptop's port replicator (I have two, one for car, one for home) and my laptop securely. Is this doable?

Here's the low on these mounts... I make them fairly generic as there are a million different laptops out there. It's up to you to mount all your stuff to it and to put some type of tabs on it to hold your laptop. It usually works out better this way as you can customize it to your needs. I have the same setup as you are talking about cept I am usually a Compaq Evo n600. Works great... another ploder buddy has a huge Dell and another has a toshiba. After a little brainstorming, they had it very funcional. Just let me know... I beleive the next batch will be made of Aluminum or Stainless... it's really up to you. Peace.

Lastly, they were $65 for a group buy of 10 if you can find nin others...

As long as the mounting base is big enough, I can fab something.

If it's $70 normally, then I'll spend $5 to save the trouble. I would actually prefer the black, but if stainless is all you can do that's cool. PayPal OK?

I'll just have it done in black and you can paint it or wrap it in fiber or leather or whatever you want to do. I just found that "holy" vinyl that are on our doors at the vinyl shop. I actually have recovered my door panels in new, non-perforated vinyl, but I have loads lying around I could cover it in.
