underdrive pulleys for 5.0

I was wondering if any body has tried this product for the 5.0... if so did u notice anything big in power... also is this the only "kit" they make??? thanks... later

they do not make any for the explorer. i remember some site having them listed for the X years ago, but they were really mustang pulleys and they wouldnt work.

The explorer pullies are already underdrive from the factory. The crank pulley is only 5 5/8". Also, the crankpulley is integrated with the harmonica balancer and DIS exciter - you cannot change crank pulley.

I got sucked in through advertising with those under drive pulleys. It gave me nothing but head ache. My alternator wasn't turning fast enough to give juice to the battery. My water pump wasn't pumping enough water so I would overheat when stuck in traffic. The only thing that was somewhat beneficial was the crank pulley. It gave me some engine power. Overall they're a waste of money IMO unless all you use your car for is for racing.
