I know you would have to reinforce the top of the bumper and even then I know it wouldn't be rock solid but if it looks good and could provide at least some protection then I think it's worth the price.

If you got one post a pic! I want to see it on an explorer.

Dang nobody? I've always wanted a stinger bar but don't have the $ to have a custom front bumper built with one.

I don't think it'd provide anything but looks. The factory bumper isn't structural like that. With a tube bumper it'd give marginal protection.

Well for 150 I think it would be worth it for looks alone although I typically don't buy stuff just for the looks. I'm just curious how it looks on an ex bumper.i would reinforce the top of the bumper with some flat bar underneath and maybe gusset it to the frame.

I don't think you could gusset it enough to get over the moment arm. The top of the bumper isn't really anything. It'd knock down brush, maybe small branches, but anything like a deer would crush that and likely cause more damage than protection.

This one was more for less than anything a knew it wasn't going to protect anything not seeing as it seems to be more for Jeep's I just hoped someone had a pic of one on an ex iv also considered a actual brush guard but with body lift and other mods done up front I'm not sure I could install one.
