Hello, I changed out my intake manifold and there was a small connector that goes in the back (that is hanging from the zip tie); however, I do not know what it is nor do I know what it is for. I wasn't paying attention to where it was plugged in on the old manifold before I took it off. Any help will be appreciated.

Pretty sure that is the ground strap that goes to the fuel rail. It appears the dorman manifold might not accept it. Do you have an extra bolt left over with a stud on it?

Ya I have a spare bolt with a stud on it but it didn't come with the manifold. What do I need to do with it? I appreciate the help.

Cut the end off, put a ring terminal on it and put it under that rear fuel rail bolt. It would probably be fine without it but they put it there for a reason.

Alright, that's something I am able to do. I found a similar thread here that explains this specific manifold, now that I know what I am looking at, it seems like an easy fix. I rather have it on, just as you said, there is a reason for it. I really appreciate it. Good thing I don't have to pull it out again.
