The new total of cars destroyed is 45 and 10 of the people are not identifiable. Burned real bad to the point that DNA and dental records are going to have to be used to identify the bodies. They said that they are using the vin numbers of the burnt vehicles to identify the bodies as well. 3 semi's and a gas filled tanker were involved and that is what caused the explosion and burned the cars. It was real ugly and it was in the middle of farm land. People have to realize that when it is foggy and you can't see 4 feet in front of you, that maybe its time to slow down and do a decent speed. 70 mph thru fog so thick you can't see is very dangerous. Anything could be stopped in the road or deer crossing the road or even a person on the side of the road stalled. These people just don't know good driving skills. It is a shame but they brought it on themselves. Not all the people but most of them.

I was driving down that interstate within a hour of the crash that got to be the sadest site I have ever seen:(

Update on what crash? Do you have any news links to this?

It was on CNN and in the Milwaukee Journal

try JSONLINE.com and wow buddy glad that you were not involved in that. Besides, you would of did the right thing and slowed down and hell if you can't get buy just throw her in 4x4 and take the ditch like I haven't done that before. A truck was backing up on an old farm road and he stalled it and couldn't get her started up again and traffic was backed up both ways and the cops came he said well you will have to turn around and detour and it was raining and muddy and I said well if I can make it by can I go straight and he said go for it if you can make it but don't get stuck and I did it. Thru her in 4x4 and hit a steep ditch and I was sideways but went slow and down I went and road the ditch for a ways and back up. Another guy tried this with his car and wasn't quit luck to get by. THey had to call a recker for him:D

OK here is the link

If anyone is interested in this huge crash in Wisconsin's history and very sad and many people died. I hope these families get thru this and my prayers will be with them. My brother only lives 4 miles from there and luckily he went thru there about an hour ealier. But my brother is smarter than to speed in fog.

Dead Link Removed

I was just about 2 miles outside of Milwaukee:D

Oh yeah brad

How did your trip to the hood go I mean to the Harley plant and I am glad that you weren't involved in this horrible accident

Very sad wrench indeed. Just remember you don't have to be speeding to be hit by someone that is...

No, you dont

I bet at least more than half were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. It only takes 1 or 2 vehicles to cause a horrible crash like this and I am sure it was 1 or 2 or more vehicles that were speeding and it was determined that is was caused by speed and the foggy conditions. The others just couldn't see and they just ran into the other vehicles because of the thick fog:(

Lets just say I pounded alot of millies Fred I had a great time stayed in a awesome motel:D

I would get off the road if it were really foggy
If some smart people are going slow and other not so smart people are going fast the fast people will probably hit the slower people
