upper ball joints

Hello looking to see what a good but not expensive ball joint I've heard of moog and xfr but I have 2003 ford explorer XLS and need to get the upper ball joints done so looking for some good ones and good prices to search thanks.

2003 XLS or TWO door Sport? Entirely different suspensions used on both. If four door, upper OEM ball joints are replaceable. Moog seems to be the preferred aftermarket choice but there are other excellent choices. Found this 14 page sticky for UCA ball joint replacement in the 2002-05 sub forum. Two door upper ball joints are not replaceable in
the OEM control arms.

I went with Moog. Easy installation and very happy with the ride after. I posted on here all the part numbers from Moog. I would change the lower ball joints when you do the upper ones. Dave p

Yep...Moog all the way. Check out Rockauto.com for some great prices and selection. This site has turned me on to them...good luck!
