Hello folks,
I´m having a little problem with the german TUEV ( registration ) and my 2006 Eddie V8 4x4.
I bought an towing adapter for german wagons - that´s no prob. It´s classified up to 3500 kg´s of towing capacity, and like I know ( and printed on the towing bar ) the 2006 V8 4x4 is towing class III / IV ( 7120 lb / 3230 kg´s ).
The prob : the german engineers on the technical registration only wanted to give me a 2800 kg´s towing cap. for my Eddie - like they say it is caused by Ford Germany having no car with a higher towing capacity.
Does anybody of you have a max. towing cap. of 3230 kg´s ( 7120 lb ) registered in your car papers ? Would be nice if I can get a copy by mail to show those id....´s that Ford USA has other specs than Ford GE.
