I was reading over on www.mustangexhaust.com and they were sayin how the v6 engines were even firing and there is no need for a H or X pipe...is this true on the explorers as well? Would there be a big diff if you added this pipe in on true duals?
I don't see where you would ever need duals on your SUV. A single exhaust would be good and the sound would probably be better(less raspy). You can go to Magnaflow or JBA's website and hear the 2005 v-6 mustang as well as the Ranger both sohc 4.0L to get an idea of what a single would sound like. I have a single on mine and it is very deep..Although a 3" but nonetheless still a single. Remember minor mods would do better with a single 2.5 and a tip! I would never expect a hp difference between a single and duals, PHP is going 12.80's on the juice and he is running through a single on a 2005 v-6 4.0 SOHC Mustang.
