v6 sohc front main seal

Looking for for some advice. I have an oil leak that is dripping on the crossmember. I found a thread that someone had the same problem and the cause could be the front main seal. I would like to know how difficult it is to change, and if someone could give a little instruction on how to do it. I am a novice mechanic but I'am willing to try anything once! Thanks in advance!

I have not done this on a SOHC motor. But every other motor in the world I've done it to required the removal of the front balancer/pulley assy which requires a special tool to remove AND install. If you don't have access to that tool, you may not be able to do the job. You may be able to rent the proper tool however. Just make sure it will remove AND install. You don't hammer those things on. You won't have room to swing a hammer anyway.
