For about two months have been feeling/hearing a pronounced "howl" from under the engine, especially noticeable when turning. It's like the normal 4x4/AWD drive turning noise, but much louder and a vibration can be felt through the steering wheel and the floorboards. About four weeks ago, I also started noticing what felt like a grinding from a standing start, especially when turning--I can feel the grind through the seat and floorboards, and it feels like it's coming from the rear of the vehicle. I also notice the grind sometimes when the vehicle is about to stop.
Just got it back from the dealer--they said hubs/bearings were bad and replaced all four under extended warranty. The howl is not as bad, but the grind is still there. The brakes still have about 4-5mm left. Any ideas?
