I've seen the tip on 4.0 MAF cleaning. My 5.0 has a slight hiccup off idle, and also a slight roughness at idle, so I guess it's time to do this. Is the procedure the same as for the 4.0, or do I approach it differently?

Thanks for your help!

Anyone?

I also want to know about this too. After doing the search, I get confused what type of cleaner to use. I would try a contact cleaner, However the sensor is surrounded by plastic. I read on most contact cleaners say it may harm certain plastics. I also heard some people use brake cleaner. I thought brake cleaners would be too strong and eat through plastics...someone correct me if am wrong. Thottle body cleaners, don't they have lubercaints in them? So what is the safest way to clean the MAF?

I think the best stuff to use is O2 safe carb cleaner.
