when I rev my motor the hose on the IAC sucks in and has sucked in so much it has split. Can someone let me know why this happens. I got a price from the FORD dealer $283.00 AU . please help

Its probably just due to old age and the repetative hot-cold cycle of the engine. But I definitely would not pay that much for a tube!
