Alright, i tried driving around with the vacume line off the transmission for a bit, just to see if it actually works (it being better shifts without the line on), but then i became concerned because of the high rpms i have to hit before it even thinks of shifting. at about 4k rpm it would shift into 2nd gear, and it seems like it shifts from 3rd then to 4th in maybe a second apart.
So i put the line back on for now, it has a valve in it now, but i keep it open. When i drive with the line off, (yes i put a plug on the intake octopus thing) it shifts awsome, no hesitation at all into any gear. When its back on it takes a couple seconds into 1st or reverse and shifts into second at about 30kph (i guess 15mph). As well as it doesnt shift very fast either.
Anyone know if this is normal for my transmission to shift at so high of rpm when the lines off? Or is something wierd with it? i really dont like the hesitation into gears either.
Thanks
